Delecca’s sell, service and hire equipment to the construction, earthmoving, agricultural and material handling sectors in rural Victoria.


We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Data Entry / Reception Officer to help operate and grow our Parts Department where we service our Bobcat, Doosan, McCormick, and Clark equipment customers.

The Position

Reporting to the Parts Manager, this is a data focused support role that would be an ideal fit for someone that thrives on being busy, has an eye for detail and loves getting the processes right the first time. If you are a team player and really love providing efficient and high-quality admin support, then we would love to hear from you!

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive customer enquiries in person, over the phone and online, identify the items sought and take all necessary steps to procure those items in order to satisfy the customers’ requirements in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on outstanding quotations in an endeavour to improve the level of customer service and to maximise sales of parts.
  • Process incoming supplier invoices on a daily basis to enable jobs to be invoiced.
  • Monitor activity for non-stock demand and emergency replenishment of stock lines.
  • Order from approved suppliers the requirements of the activity for stock and non-stock lines.
  • Arrange courier pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Maintain our Parts retail and front of house areas.
  • Create Part numbers in accordance with the IMS (Integrated Management Systems) procedures.

Skills and Experience

Delecca’s Parts Department is one of the first points of contact for people visiting our business. As such, strong customer service skills are essential to the role. You will also possess:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent phone manner.
  • Excellent administration skills.
  • Intermediate level computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications & Requirements

The following are highly desirable, but not essential:

  • Previous knowledge of Bobcat parts.
  • Previous experience within the automotive, heavy equipment / machinery industry or similar.
  • Previous experience with Integrated Management Systems / parts systems.

We require you to have a current driver’s licence.
