Because of this, Doosan and Bobcat have their own line of product – so Doosan mini excavators differ from Bobcat mini excavators. However, in Australia we use Bobcat for excavators weighing 1 ton up to 8 ton, and then use Doosan for excavators 14 ton and above – up to 100 ton with the mighty Doosan DX1000.
You may have heard about some changes ahead regarding Doosan. Hyundai Doosan Infracore (HDI) is rebranding from the Doosan brand to its new brand named ‘Develon’. The change comes about 18 months after HDI became a subsidiary of HD Hyundai in August 2021. We’ll have more information to provide you when the changeover is finalised during 2023.
